Squamata is the order of reptiles that includes lizards and snakes, a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My work with clay is heavily inspired by the patterns, textures, and habitats of our scaled friends. Rock climbing no doubt finds its way into my work as well. I often find myself mixing clays with the textures, colors, and patterns that fellow climbers may find familiar. 

I'm still new to this craft, having thrown my first pot on the wheel in September of 2022. I was hooked after that though, quickly outgrowing the makeshift studio in the corner of my living room. I'm excited to see where this path takes me, as I have enough ideas to keep me busy for years. I hope you'll follow along!
